First, add 2 to both sides.
We will be left with g/4 and 5.
To get g/4 to g, we must multiply by 4.
g/4 x 4 = g.
Now, we must multiply 5 by 4 to get 12.
We are left with g = 20.
*Checking the work*
20/4 = 5, - 2 = 3.
g = 20 is the correct answer.
