Answer:

One of the most significant precedents established by George Washington during his presidency is the precedent of a peaceful transfer of power after an election. Washington set the example of a president willingly giving up power after serving their term, and this has become an important aspect of American democracy and a tradition that has been upheld by every president since. This helped establish the United States as a nation in which political power is transferred through peaceful means rather than through violence or force.

The precedent established by Washington that is considerably important is that presidents have terms. If Washington hadn’t stepped down from president, no one would have known what to do when he died. It also gives a fair opportunity to others in the biggest part of our country.
