Which number can be substituted in for '?' to make this relation NOT a function?

{(0, 1), (2, -5), (-3, -2), (4, 6), (?, 7)}

A. 3

B. 7

C. 2

The answer is C
Because to make this not a function the x axis would have to repeat and if u add another 2 that would cause it to repeat and not be a function of the line

Answer is C. 2

Reason: to cause this set to NOT be a function, we need two inputs of the same number - there is a (2, -5) so replace the ? with 2 and now we have (2, 7) and (2, -5)
and the set is no longer a function
