A field is in the shape of a rectangle.

The length of the field is 340 m, to the nearest metre.
The width of the field is 117 m, to the nearest metre.

Explanation:

the perimeter of a rectangle is

2×length + 2×width.

length and width are given to the nearest meter.

that means doubling them could add an additional meter due to rounding.

so the upper limit or maximum possible perimeter is

2×340 + 1 + 2×117 + 1 = 680 + 234 + 2 = 916 meters
