plasma and hydrogen makes up 70% helium makes up 28% and carbon,nitrogen,oxygen make up 1.5% and the other .5% is made up of neon, iron, silicon, magnesium and sulfur.

The sun is mostly made of hydrogen, about 72%. However, there is a great deal of helium too, about 26%. The other 2% is a mix of other elements. Hope this helped!
