Wendy jumped shorter. She jumped 9/10 meters which is simplified already. Judy jumped 10/9 meters. The common denominator of the two is 90. 9/10 becomes 81/90 and 10/9 becomes 100/90. Now that they have the same denominator you can compare them easier. You can conclude 100/90 is greater than 81/90. So judy number farthest while wendy didn't.
