1 yard=3 feet
5 yards to feet
5 yards times 3=15 feet

1 mile=5280 feet
15/5280 miles per second
1 hour=60 minutes
1 minute=60 seconds
1 hour=60 times 60 seconds=3600 seconds
1 hour=3600 seconds
divide both sides by 3600
1/3600hour=1 second

(15/5280)miles per (1/3600) hour

( (15)/(5280) )/( (1)/(3600) )

invert and multiply

(15)/(5280) times
(3600)/(1)=
( 54000)/(5280)=
( 225)/(22) =10.2273 miles per hour
