Eukaryotes: are organisms made up of cells that posses a membrane-bound nucleus that holds genetic materials, as well as membrane-bound organelles.

Prokaryotes: are organisms made up of cells that lack a cell nucleus or any membrane-encased organelles. This means the genetic material DNA in prokaryotes is not bound within nucleus. Additionally, the DNA is less structured in prokaryotes than in erkaryotes.

A Eukaryote is an organism consisting of a cell(s) in which the genetic material is DNA in the form of chromosomes contained within a distinct nucleus. Eukaryotes include all living organisms other than the eubacteria and archaebacteria.
A Prokaryote is a microscopic single-celled organism that has neither a distinct nucleus with a membrane nor does it have other specialized organelles. Prokaryotes include the bacteria and cyanobacteria.

Hope this helps ~
