The answer would be 19.2
Yes, now we subtract it to both sides '44.4 - 19.2' and you have your answer

i think the value of y would be 9
because if you put 3 in place of x the equation would be
6.4(3)+2.8y then you would simplify it to 19.2+2.8y
19.2-44.4=25.5
25.2/2.8=9 which is the value of y
answer=9
