you would take x^2-4x+3x-2=28
add common numbers x^2-x-2=28
set it equal to 0 x^2-x-30
use the quadratic formula x=1+-√1-4(1)(-30)÷2
Solve for x 1+-√131÷2
X÷≈6.223
plug x into both equations for kl and jl and you will get lenghts that are ≈13.829 for Jk and ≈16.669 for KL
