Groundhog Day, February 2nd, is when the groundhog nicknamed Punxsutawney Phil, Seer of Seers, Sage of Sages, Prognosticator of Prognosticators, and Weather Prophet Extraordinary comes out of his hole and looks for his shadow. If he can see it, there is said to be six more weeks of winter, but if he doesn't see it, then there will be nice weather and an early Spring.
