Discuss particular elements or types of poetry that helped you begin to understand the different parts of a poem. What are some of the challenges you have faced when reading poetry? Explain the strategies that have helped with your reading comprehension.

When a challenging poem comes across, the best thing to do is to look for vocab usage. To find what some words mean, would make a great contribution to understanding the stanza's in the poem and what the major theme would be. The reading strategies I use include being able to identify context clues and even the theme.
