What is 8/9 on simplest form

8/9 is already in simplest form there isn't any other #'s that can go into both 8 and 9 that could reduce it down anymore

Let's see -

First, take a close look at the fraction's numerator and denominator. In this case, the numerator is 8 and the denominator is 9.
(8)/(9)

Then, ask yourself, "What number goes into 8 and 9 evenly?"

Now, while you think about reducing these numbers, you find out that
(8)/(9) is already in it's simplest form.

Of course, you could say 1 goes into both numbers evenly, but it doesn't change it.

So, therefore,
(8)/(9) is already simplified.
