ORIGINAL EQUATION:
-1/2(x+5)= -10

Simplify by multiplying (x+5) by (-1/2)
-0.5x+(-2.5)= -10

Add 2.5 on both sides
-0.5x= -7.5

Divide by -0.5 on both sides
x=15
