Answer: x= 30 ft tall
Explanation: you know the lengths of both shadows so therefore you put 40 over 8 (like a fraction) and then you need to find out height of the flagpole, but you do know the height of Jose so therefore you put x over 6 right next to 40 over 8. Then you cross multiply 40 x 6= 240 and then you change the x into 8. So NOW you then divide your answer from 40 x 6 (240) by 8 and then you get your answer which is X = 30 ft tall
