D is not the answer because ancient Greeks did believe in revenge and avenging their people. Also A and C are not the answer because ancient Greeks believed in fights as a way to reclaim their territories and avenge their people. Therefore the answer is B, because in the Odyssey we see that even the strongest warrios can allow their emotions to get the better of them.
