The social structures in both India and Latin America were hierarchical:this is a good answer. they also consisted of four main groups (In America: Peninsulares, criollos, mestizos, Native Americans).

The answer to the second question is the Transatlantic Triangular Trade.
Perhaps Transatlantic Trade Triangle could fit into the gaps? ( But it's not the best name)
