$6.7x = 5.2x + 12.3\\6.7x- 5.2x = 12.3\\1.5x = 12.3\\x = (12.3)/(1.5) \\\\x=8.2\ \ Answer$

$6.7x=5.2x+12.3\\\\6.7x-5.2x=12.3\\\\1.5x=12.3 \ \ /\cdot 10\\\\15x=123\ \ /:15\\ \\x=(123)/(15)\\\\x=(41)/(5)\\\\x=8.2$
