$3x+15=3(x+5)\\\\ 3x+15=3x+3*5\\\\ 3x+15=3x+15\\\\0=0\\\\LHS=RHS\\\\ There\ are\ infinitely\ many\ solutions.$

3x+15=3(x+5)

3x+15=3x+15

3x-3x=15-15

Therefore x can be equal to any value.
