It is true that creation stories describe creation resulting from the forming or the breaking of a union between two powerful, primordial forces. One example is a mythology in China entitled ‘Eggs and emptiness’ narrating that creation began with the splitting of two eggs until a giant with limbs grows out of these eggs.
