Length of the block of marble in question is (l) = 8 feet
Width of the block of marble in question is (w) = 2 feet
Height of the block of marble in question is (h) = 78 inches
We already know that
1 inch = 0.08 foot
So
Height of the block of marble in question (h) = 78 * 0.08 foot
= 6.24 feet
Then
Volume of the marble block = i * w * h
= 8 * 2 * 6.24 cubic feet
= 99.84 cubic feet
From the above dduction we can conclude that the volume of the marble block in the shape of a rectangular prism is 99.84 cubic feet.
