The laws that were opposed by the Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions were the Alien and the Sedation Acts. The Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions were drafted between the years 1798 and 1799. They were actually political statements that opposed the Alien and Sedation Acts and were of the opinion that the acts were actually unconstitutional in nature.
