Financial aid is financial support given to individuals (students) who are furthering their education.

The support can be provided from donors, corporations, individuals, sponsors and the University itself.

Statement D is correct about financial aid: Financial aid is available to community college students. The other statements are not: A: Also private colleges offer financial aid. B: It does not have to be true that most sports team members will get financial aid. C: Every student can qualify for financial aid.

The truth about financial aid is D. Financial aid is available to community college students. The student financial aid is given to qualified students through government grants, educational loans, federal work-study programs, and scholarships from educational institutions or private agencies.
