To find if a number is a divisible by 3, follow this process:

Add all the digits up.

2 + 6 + 3 + 4 + 1 = 16

16 is not divisible by 3.

Therefore, 26,341 is NOT divisible by 3.

No. 26,341 is not evenly divisible by 3 .

Here's the trick you can use to decide this
just by looking at a big number:

==> If a number is divisible by 3, then the
sum of its digits is divisible by 3.

I've never taken the trouble to figure out why this works,
but it does work. I didn't make it up. It's widely known.

So let's look at 26,341 .

The sum of the digits is (2 + 6 + 3 + 4 + 1) = 16 .

16 is not divisible by 3 , so 26,341 is not divisible by 3 .

Is that cool or what !
