Ratio of red roses to yellow roses as given in the question = 4:6
Total number of roses in the question = 50
Let us assume that the common ratio is = x
Then
4x + 5x = 50
10x = 50
x = 50/10
= 5
Then
The number of yellow roses = 6 * 5
= 30
So there are 30 yellow roses among the total of 50 roses. I hope the procedure is simple enough for you to understand. You can use this procedure for solving similar type of problems in future. I hope this has helped you.
