A soccer tournament there are (16x + 30 ) boys and (5x - 12) more girls than boys. How many children are there at the tournament in terms of x?

So here is the equation for the total amount of kids:
(16x+30)+ [(16x+30)+(5x-12)]
Boys Girls

This is simplified to 37x+48 in terms of x using PEMDAS.
