The power dissipated by a single component is

Power = (voltage²) / (resistance) .

Multiply each side by resistance:

Power x resistance = voltage²

Divide each side by Power:

Resistance = voltage² / power

= (15V)² / (15W)

= 225 V² / (15 volt-amp)

= 15 volt/amp = 15 ohms .
