That is true. The first book that he published, in 1923, was called: Three Stories and Ten Poems. The stories in this book were: Up in Michigan, Out of Season and My Old Man. His second book, from 1926 was also the collection of short stories called Indian Camp. His first novel, The Sun Also Rises, was also published in 1926. Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961) was an American writer and journalist. His economical, journalistic, laconic and raw style of writing largely influenced the 20th century literature. His best-known novels are: A Farewell to Arms (1929) and For Whom the Bell Tolls (1940).
