Hi
113 ⇒ 100% of the price
x ⇒ 19% of the price
100x = 19·(113)
100x = 2147
x = 2147/100
x = 21,47
Answer: The tip should be $ 21.47

so percent measna prts out of 100
19%=19/100=1.9/10=0.19/1=0.19
19% of 113
'of' means multiply
0.19 times 113=21.47
tip is $21.47
