Answer:

The equivalent expression is
2x^5+11x^3-5x^2

Explanation:

Given:
(2x^5+7x^3)-(5x^2-4x^3)

Here we have expression and to simplify it

\Rightarrow (2x^5+7x^3)-(5x^2-4x^3)

Distribute minus sign

\Rightarrow 2x^5+7x^3-5x^2+4x^3

Combine the like terms (whose variable part same)

\Rightarrow 2x^5+(7x^3+4x^3)-5x^2

\Rightarrow 2x^5+11x^3-5x^2

Equivalent expression
\Rightarrow 2x^5+11x^3-5x^2

Hence, The equivalent expression is
2x^5+11x^3-5x^2
