2(-x-2)+(5x-1)=3(x-7)+18

-2x-4+5x-1=3x-21+18

3x-5=3x-3

3x-3x≠-3+5

As 0≠2

$2(-x-2)+(5x-1)=3 (x-7)+18 \\ \\-2x-2\cdot 2+5x-1=3x-3\cdot 7 +18\\\\-2x-4+5x-1=3x-21 +18\\\\-2x +5x-3x= -21 +18+4+1 \\ \\0\\eq 2 \\ \\ false, \ no \ solutions$
