Radius of Randy's circular garden = 1.5 feet
Then
Circumference of the garden = 2πr
We already know the value of π = 3.14
Then
Circumference of the circular garden = 2 * 3.14 * 1.5 feet
= 9.42 feet
Cost of each foot of fencing = $0.75
Cost of 9.42 foot of fencing = 0.75 * 9.42 dollars
= 7.065 dollars
So the cost of the edging will be $7.065. i hope the procedure is simple enough for you to understand.
