False. The statement is correct only in part

The phospholipid molecule is simply bipolar, that is it has two ends that are opposed to each other in their characteristics.

This phospholipid molecule is said to be amphipathic which simply means it has both a hydrophilic and hydrophobic component.

The hydrophilic end, which is water loving, is the "head" of the molecule and is made of a phosphate group. The hydrophobic end which means water hating or fearing is the "tail" of the phospholipid and is made of two chains of fatty acids.
