Dysthanasia is the opposite of euthanasia. It is often seen in hospital settings where patients are treated to prolong life and the terminally ill patients are allowed to die naturally. It is considered as a “bad death” because a person is kept alive beyond their natural period which results to a prolonged suffering. This usually happens to individuals who can’t let go of their patients. Euthanasia is when family or close relatives decide to remove the life support attached to a suffering patient.
