We can see that the segment is defined by the points (-5, 5) & (-3, -4).

Now, we calculate the mid-point by using the following expression:


mp=((x_2-x_1)/(2),(y_2-y_2)/(2))

So, now we replace:


mp=((-5-(-3))/(2),(-4-5)/(2))\Rightarrow mp=(-1,(1)/(2))

So, the mid point is (-1, 1/2).
