The tropical rainforest biome is a hot ecosystem where there is rain all through the year. The tropical rainforest biome makes up about 7% of the earth’s surface and is found majorly in South America and in Brazil. The tropical rainforest biome contains several species of plants such as orchids, vines and a large variety of animals. If the tropical rainforest biome received very little rain for an extended period of time, it will become dried and many plants that require lots of water for survival will die.
