How do you find the mean in the list 46, 38, 53, 34,27, 54?

You add all of the numbers together (46, 38, 53, 34, 27, and 54) and then you divide by the amount of numbers there are in the list, which would be 6.

mean means average (no pun intended)

HOW TO FIND THE MEAN
so basically to find the mean let's say you have 4 terms x,y,z,t
to find the mean, add them and divide by the number of terms you have (4)
(x+y+z+t)/4=mean

so we have the numbers
46,38,53,34,27,54
6 numbers total
add then and divide by 6
(46+38+53+34+27+54)/6=252/6=42
