True. Maintaining a healthy diet is a sure preventive measure in contracting common chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, heart disease, and cancer. Low salt, low fat, and high alkaline diets are the recommended food intake for the different diseases respectively. If an individual is seeking to live out a very healthy life, he/she must always make CONSCIOUS choices in his/her lifestyle. Food and eating healthy are the best conscious choices everybody has to make every single day and it is always up to us whether we want this to bring us to the good or bad side of life.
