The Renaissance was actually an awakening for the people. Because their exposure to literature, arts, and science grew, people were able to think for themselves and became more logical thinkers. They questioned the world around them and wanted to come up with answers. One man named Martin Luther King encouraged people to read his 95 theses concerning his grievances with the church. He encouraged people to read the Bible for themselves and be the judge on what traits a good Christian should have. With the help of the printing press, his journals were reproduced and people were encouraged by him as the journals were disseminated throughout Europe. Thus, a reform was established.
