Median is the middle number, since these are already aligned in least to greatest, we could find it easily.
Between 2.99 and 3.89 is 3.44
Answer: 3.44

Normally you would put the numbers least to greatest and the number in the middle would be the median.
But in this case 2 numbers, 2.99 and 3.89 are in the middle.
In this case the mean of the two middle numbers is the median.
