Number toffees Sam had = 3/4 kg.
Number of toffees he gave to Mike = 3/8 kg.
Toffees left = 3/4 - 3/8 = 0.75 - 0.375 = 0.375 kg.
Number of toffees he had left =
3/8 kg.
