($2.40) divided by (3/4) is the same thing as ($2.40) times (4/3) .

($2.40) x (4/3) = ($9.60) / 3 = $3.20

3/4=0,75

2,40$........0,75
x................1

x=2,40/0,75

x= 3,2 $ per pound
