New dialects are not a result of language convergence. Option D is correct.

Language convergence refers to a form of linguistic change in which languages come to structurally resemble one another as a consequence of prolonged language contact and mutual interference.

Language convergence takes place in geographic areas with two or more unrelated languages in contact.

A dialect refers to a variety of a language that signals where a person is from.

It would be "New Dialects" that is usually not a result of language convergence, since for language convergence to take place there needs to be a "blending" of two or more distinct languages.
