False. Parenchyma cells are found in the roots and stems of plants and it is the most common plant tissue. They make up the volume of leaves, flowers, fruits, and woody plants. Its structure is composed of large vacuoles that have distinct intercellular spaces. Their roles depend on their exact location in the plants which determines whether their function will be for photosynthesis, damage repair, and storage.

The most common function of these cells is for storing water and starch. While the intercellular air spaces of these cells permit gaseous exchanges.
