What are integers? the teacher told us but i was confused.

An integer is a whole number. It is not a fraction. For example, 1, 2, 3, and 4 are integers. However, 1/3, 7/8, 2/9 are not integers.

Integers are whole numbers Numbers that are not fractions. they are whole/complete numbers. They can be negative or positive. e.g : -56
