6 cuz 7+5 =12 so 12/12 =1 and 3+2=5 so then 5+1= 6 ( its kinda hard to explain )

Answer:

6 feet of pipe does he have

Explanation:

Let one length be A and other length be B

As per the statement:

Brad has two lengths of copper pipe to fit together. one has a length of 2 5/12 feet and the other has a length of 3 7/12 feet.

⇒A =
2(5)/(12) = (29)/(12) and

B = 3(7)/(12) = (43)/(12)

We have to find how many feet of pipe does he have.

Total length of pipe does he have = A+B

\text{Total length of Pipe} = (29)/(12)+(43)/(12) = (72)/(12) = 6 feet.

Therefore, 6 feet of pipe does he have
