Use the distance formula, distance= rate*time. So, 30=2*speed.
Then simplify and divided by 2 on each side.
speed=
15 miles per hour

15 mph; Divide 30 miles by 2 hours in order to find the unit rate. When dividing, you will get the quotient, 15, or 15 miles per hour.
