Divide the $400 over 16 to find the hourly wage

400/16 = 25

He earns $25 an hour

Multiply this by 10 to find out how much he can earn in 10 hours

25*10 = 250

He earns 250 dollars in 10 hours. This is before any taxes or other kind of deductions from his paycheck.
