As x increases by 2, y increases by 3, so the rate = change in y/change in x = 3/2 = 1.5

Answer:
(3)/(2)

Explanation:

The average rate of change of a linear function (the slope) is constant.

The rate of change of the linear relationship=
\frac{\text{change in y}}{\text{change in x}}

The rate of change from x=1 to x=7

=
(11-2)/(7-1)=(9)/(6)=(3)/(2)

Similarly you can check the rate of change for every interval, it would be

(3)/(2).
