Answer: Hepatitis B virus is a virus which is partially ds DNA ( double-stranded) virus, which is a species of the genus Orthohepadnavirus. This virus causes the disease known as hepatitis B, which is a liver infection caused by hepatitis B virus. When this infection becomes chronic there is a chance of liver failure, liver cirrhosis and liver cancer. This disease can be cured if taken proper medication and prevention on time.
